The morning was cold, but the cars were HOT at the EuroSunday Modesto, Jan 21st!. And YOS members were there in numbers!! This was the first “cars and coffee”/EuroSunday that the club highlighted as a come and go to breakfast event. Board members Chuck Pierce, Larry Kirkbride, George Hatfield, Andrew Dalen and Don Chaisson attended — and met both new, old and current Yosemite Region members.
David Huckaby noted (on YOS Facebook) “EuroSunday at McHenry Village was packed this morning. The whole parking lot from Village Baking Co down pass the building where Sees Candy is, was full. Rough count was about 12 Porsche’s. A lot of other very nice cars also.” Later, Andrew amended the total “… was 14 p cars when I left”.
So, what do you do at a EuroSunday?
Well, first you line up your car in the lot, nose facing out, either picking other Porsches to park next to, or line up next to some other car you want to show “up”, like a silver Ferrari! Just kidding. But, mostly its just walking the “lines” and talking to the owners about their “rides”.
And some picture taking —
Included in the two Ferrari’s was a RED Testarossa.
I kind of liked this Audi R8…..
