Porsche, Planes and Pints

Oct 10th, 9:00AM

We are looking forward to this event combining three “P’s” –Planes, Porsche and Pints. ( P-cubed! ?) with a visit to the Castle Air Museum!  This will also be our 1st event that we share with another region: Sequoia Region.   The plan is to meet at Austin’s CoffeeCrafters in Ripon area at 9:00 AM (departing at 9:30 AM). so that we can arrive at The Tarmac in Atwater at 10-10:15 AM for a quick “brunch”.  We will motor on over to the Air Museum @ 11:00-11:15 where Yosemite member — and museum docent, Bob Tyler, will lead us on what will be an exciting tour of things that can really go faster than our Porsche cars!  We may even get a peek inside the Restoration Shop !!  Cost for museum tour: $20.   Registration via Eventbrite at the GT3 button:

2021 WERKS Monterey

After missing last year (due to COVID), WERKS Monterey returned in August to the Bayonet Golf Course in Seaside. There were 700 cars in the “judged field” and the “Corral”, with more parking in the General Admission. The cars were unique, but more interestingly, the people were unique.

Aug Nights at Oakdale GCC

Oakdale GCC runs a “Hot Aug Nights” event, but this year they invited Yosemite Region to participate.  With that, 15 Porsches from Dave Boyd’s 914, Phill Harris’ ’80 Carrera SC to Nielsen’s ’18 Targa S got on the fairway for all to see.  It was our first time, and maybe not…
