Our Annual Turkey Drive-Drive

Nov 13th   SAVE THE DATE
Over the last couple years, this event has been one of our “feel good” events, one that can’t be missed. We caravan to the Second Harvest Food Bank to drop off a “frunk-load” of food/turkeys to help the less fortunate in an emotional time of the year. Then we go off for a “Drive” over entertaining roads ending at a restaurant for lunch.

We may possibly end up at Copperopolis as we did last year, or… maybe a “new” venue. Stay tuned for the announced route description and destination.

In the Zone, Oct 2021

Collin Fat’s report to the regions for October, including information on membership growth, updates for Concours and Autocross and a report on the Sierra Nevada Mammoth Tour.

SIM Racing w/Jeff Rosenthal, Part 2

Jeff’s “Cup Car”. Note the Yosemite logo on the hood!

Our interview with Jeff on his SIM racing continues with part 2, focusing on the actual simulation “experience” and equipment.

NEW/OLD Member’s BBQ

TheNew/Old Member’s BBQ was held at St. Jorge Winnery.  The turnout was maxed out, after all, this is one of Yosemite Region’s “signature” events!  The photo above is our New Members “Class of 2021”.  Interestingly, two new members have already volunteered to be on the “board” ….

2021 WERKS Monterey

After missing last year (due to COVID), WERKS Monterey returned in August to the Bayonet Golf Course in Seaside. There were 700 cars in the “judged field” and the “Corral”, with more parking in the General Admission. The cars were unique, but more interestingly, the people were unique.
