DESCRIPTION:Back by popular demand\, the official artist of PCA\, Kelly Telfer and his wife Beth\, have offered their home for a Yosemite region gathering. Once on the property\, the fun will start with a guided studio tour led by our host\, Kelly Telfer.  It is a wonderland of amazing art of many things around the property. \nHappy hour starts at 5:30PM with an All American BBQ (burgers and hot dogs) with all the fixings at 7:00 PM.  You’re welcome to camp on-site with plenty of spots to choose from (or find lodging in nearby Sonora)\, and we will have music and campfire into the evening.  As a tradition\, your board of directors will be cooking breakfast for the overnight campers the next morning. \nWe are offering a 2 hour driving tour leading up to the event on Saturday\, October 25th – the drive will start at Mar-Val Market in Escalon and our Tour Master will be Yosemite Region Past President\, Chuck Pierce \nPre-drive & paperwork briefing: 3:00 PM \nMar-Val Market \n1900 McHenry Ave \nEscalon\, CA 95320 \nThere’s lots of room to pitch a tent and RV parking is available on-site – you’re welcome to join us for dinner\, an overnight stay\, and/or breakfast on Sunday morning. SUMMARY:Featherbed Railroad Tour 4/25-4/27
DESCRIPTION:It is time again to join Yosemite Region’s Chuck and Jennifer Pierce on a great weekend adventure to the Featherbed Railroad B&B on the shores of Clearlake! This great driving / social event will depart from Stockton on the morning of Friday\, April 25th\, and will head for Novato and go out past the Nicasio Reservoir to Hwy 1\, heading north on Hwy 1 through Freestone to Occidental for a late lunch.  After lunch\, the tour will head over to some great roads along Hwy 101 and Hwy 175 to the Featherbed Railroad B&B for the evening. \nAfter breakfast on Saturday\, we will tour some of the curvy Mendocino back roads over to the coast. We will stop for lunch in Ft. Bragg\, then head out Hwy 20 back to the Featherbed.  Dinner will be at the B&B where\, by tradition\, we dress to the theme of our caboose. After breakfast on Sunday\, the tour will depart for home. \nSpots for the event are very limited and this is sure to be a popular event!  To reserve your spot\, please contact Chuck at cpcycle1@gmail.com.
