SUMMARY:Featherbed Railroad Tour 4/25-4/27
DESCRIPTION:It is time again to join Yosemite Region’s Chuck and Jennifer Pierce on a great weekend adventure to the Featherbed Railroad B&B on the shores of Clearlake! This great driving / social event will depart from Stockton on the morning of Friday\, April 25th\, and will head for Novato and go out past the Nicasio Reservoir to Hwy 1\, heading north on Hwy 1 through Freestone to Occidental for a late lunch.  After lunch\, the tour will head over to some great roads along Hwy 101 and Hwy 175 to the Featherbed Railroad B&B for the evening. \nAfter breakfast on Saturday\, we will tour some of the curvy Mendocino back roads over to the coast. We will stop for lunch in Ft. Bragg\, then head out Hwy 20 back to the Featherbed.  Dinner will be at the B&B where\, by tradition\, we dress to the theme of our caboose. After breakfast on Sunday\, the tour will depart for home. \nSpots for the event are very limited and this is sure to be a popular event!  To reserve your spot\, please contact Chuck at cpcycle1@gmail.com.

DESCRIPTION:Come join us for our first multi-day driving tour of the 2024 season!  This event\, led by our Membership Chair\, Gary Loudermilk\, will be departing on Sunday\, June 9th for a 3-day tour of the beautiful Central Coast with stops planned for shopping\, some great winery / brewery tours (after the drives are complete for the day)\, and fantastic views all while socializing with your PCA Yosemite Region friends.  With ample opportunities to explore the fantastic roads of the coast as well as opportunities to go whale watching\, visit the beach\, or just relax\, this tour is certainly going to be one of the “can’t miss” events of the season! \nGreat accommodations have been reserved for those who attend – the estimated cost is about $520 total for 2 nights stay\, and additional details on the tour and room booking will be provided to registrants within 7-10 days. \nFor questions about this tour\, please reach out to Gary Loudermilk at roxbxtr@outlook.com.  We look forward to seeing you there!

DESCRIPTION:With a baseball game\, short driving campus tour of the beautiful University of the Pacific\, a small car show\, and catering\, this event should be a blast!  Join us on the beautiful campus of University of the Pacific in Stockton for the season finale of UOP Baseball which will include some great food and lots of fun with friends.  This is a “family friendly event” – your registration ticket includes a ticket to the game\, the tour\, a cheeseburger\, water\, chips\, and a cookie\, along with a great day in the sun watching some baseball! \nThe event begins at 11:00AM\, meeting at Parking Lot 1 across from the baseball field on Pershing Ave and Larry Heller Drive.  Public Safety (police) will be on hand to watch the cars during the event\, as well.  The driving tour is expected to start at about 11:30-11:45AM. \nTicket cost for the event is $25 per person for the event / catering\, which includes Eventbrite ticketing fees.  Additional food options are available through event concessions as a “no host” option. \nFor more information about the tour\, please reach out to Jeff Rosenthal at president@yos.pca.org.  We look forward to seeing you there!

SUMMARY:Roads Less Traveled to Telfer Ranch 10/14
DESCRIPTION:This is a first for the Yosemite Region of the Porsche Club of America.  Over the last few years\, two out of three new Porsches sold are SUVs with four doors. Based on that fact\, why not offer a scenic\, safe gravel road tour. Our SUV Tour Master\, Mr. Hugh Ewing\, will be leading this first ever event. The tour will break at the top of Pinecrest peak for a picnic (bring you our lunch-BYOL) lunch. The group will enjoy amazing views of Pinecrest lake. Participating Cayenne and Macan owners will enjoy a relaxed all-wheel drive tour\, which is perfect for all stock clearance vehicles.  The route is very pleasant along Harring Creek Road to Coyote Meadows\, which is the first major stop and photo opp. From there you will travel up the Pinecrest Peak with great vistas of the lake.  This will be the location for the groups lunch break. On the way down\, the group will be stopping at a second vista overlook with western exposure and views of the beehive-shaped granite outcroppings.  A wonder of nature. DESCRIPTION:Kelly Telfer is the official artist for the PCA\, Parade\, Werks Reunion to name a few. The 2022 event was one for the books and this year will be bigger and better with not one\, but two drives. Drive option #1 will be a scenic drive through the foothills ending at Telfer Ranch.  Drive option #2 will be the region’s first ever SUV gravel road tour to Pinecrest lookout\, also ending at the ranch in time for happy hour! Kelly and his wife\, Beth\, have graciously offered their beautiful property to our region to do a social gathering\, which includes games\, camping\, a catered dinner\, breakfast\, campfire and adult s’mores.  Optional paint with the master Kelly Telfer will be offered at an additional cost. Do one of the group drives and stay for a Mexican buffet dinner @ $30.00 per person.  Make it a weekend and camp out\, or just join us for Sunday morning for breakfast\, sponsored by the region.
