DESCRIPTION:With a baseball game\, short driving campus tour of the beautiful University of the Pacific\, a small car show\, and catering\, this event should be a blast!  Join us on the beautiful campus of University of the Pacific in Stockton for the season finale of UOP Baseball which will include some great food and lots of fun with friends.  This is a “family friendly event” – your registration ticket includes a ticket to the game\, the tour\, a cheeseburger\, water\, chips\, and a cookie\, along with a great day in the sun watching some baseball! \nThe event begins at 11:00AM\, meeting at Parking Lot 1 across from the baseball field on Pershing Ave and Larry Heller Drive.  Public Safety (police) will be on hand to watch the cars during the event\, as well.  The driving tour is expected to start at about 11:30-11:45AM. \nTicket cost for the event is $25 per person for the event / catering\, which includes Eventbrite ticketing fees.  Additional food options are available through event concessions as a “no host” option. \nFor more information about the tour\, please reach out to Jeff Rosenthal at president@yos.pca.org.  We look forward to seeing you there!

SUMMARY:Roads Less Traveled to Telfer Ranch 10/14
DESCRIPTION:This is a first for the Yosemite Region of the Porsche Club of America.  Over the last few years\, two out of three new Porsches sold are SUVs with four doors. Based on that fact\, why not offer a scenic\, safe gravel road tour. Our SUV Tour Master\, Mr. Hugh Ewing\, will be leading this first ever event. The tour will break at the top of Pinecrest peak for a picnic (bring you our lunch-BYOL) lunch. The group will enjoy amazing views of Pinecrest lake. Participating Cayenne and Macan owners will enjoy a relaxed all-wheel drive tour\, which is perfect for all stock clearance vehicles.  The route is very pleasant along Harring Creek Road to Coyote Meadows\, which is the first major stop and photo opp. From there you will travel up the Pinecrest Peak with great vistas of the lake.  This will be the location for the groups lunch break. On the way down\, the group will be stopping at a second vista overlook with western exposure and views of the beehive-shaped granite outcroppings.  A wonder of nature. DESCRIPTION:Kelly Telfer is the official artist for the PCA\, Parade\, Werks Reunion to name a few. The 2022 event was one for the books and this year will be bigger and better with not one\, but two drives. Drive option #1 will be a scenic drive through the foothills ending at Telfer Ranch.  Drive option #2 will be the region’s first ever SUV gravel road tour to Pinecrest lookout\, also ending at the ranch in time for happy hour! Kelly and his wife\, Beth\, have graciously offered their beautiful property to our region to do a social gathering\, which includes games\, camping\, a catered dinner\, breakfast\, campfire and adult s’mores.  Optional paint with the master Kelly Telfer will be offered at an additional cost. Do one of the group drives and stay for a Mexican buffet dinner @ $30.00 per person.  Make it a weekend and camp out\, or just join us for Sunday morning for breakfast\, sponsored by the region. DESCRIPTION:Come join us for a great evening of baseball and socializing at the Stockton Ports on Banner Island. Our chairperson and organizer\, Mr. Jeff Rosenthal\, is friends with the team general manager. The team is focused on showing our club a good time! This is an evening of baseball\, friends\, food\, with a fireworks show after the game. Your ticket includes the game\, The Back Porch private reserved seating\, secure VIP parking\, dinner buffet and soda.  The Stockton Ports will be giving a hat away for the first 1000 fans at the park. Adult beverages are available and will be “No Host”. In addition\, there is a kids’ zone play area for the little ones! Tickets are $40.00 for adults and $15.00 for kids. DESCRIPTION:Our tour master for this event is member Mr. Bob Tyler\, who has put together a route to be enjoyed by all! After a long\, wet and snowy winter\, Sonora Pass and Ebbetts Pass are finally open.  This event is not to be missed! \nThe group will head east on Highway 108\, stopping at the top of Sonora Pass.  There is still tons of snow on the peaks which will make for a great photo opportunity.  As the tour descends the east side of the Pass\, a lunch stop will be in beautiful Walker. After lunch\, the second half of the tour will head up and over Ebbetts Pass on Highway 4\, stopping in Bear Valley for a rest stop.  For those of you that wish to continue on with the drive\, we’ll proceed to Angels Camp for our final stop. \nMeeting and Starting Location: \n\nSonora Junction Shopping Center\n13781 Mono Way\, Sonora\, CA\nPre-drive meeting & paperwork at 9:00 AM\nDrive starts at 9:30 AM\n\nThis event is free and is limited to 30 participants. \n

Mr. Larry Inman has been the driving force and this event is known as our “Spring Fling 1.0” We will be meeting at 9:00 AM for a pre-drive briefing and paperwork. DESCRIPTION:As our second official event of 2023\, come and joint us for a “not to be missed” winter drive and tour of the Blain Motorsports Foundation in Visalia California.  The Blain Motorsports Foundation is famous for searching for historical race cars that time has forgotten.  These cars are painstaking restored to their former glory.  The Foundation is active in racing several restored pre-war (WW2) Indy cars. These cars are raced at vintage events nationally.  \nThe day will start with a pre-drive briefing and paperwork at the following meeting location: \nMcDonald’s located @ 1382 Colony Road in Ripon. DESCRIPTION:Cathy Kuhn has put together an event to remember:\nShe has arranged for lodging and organized attendance to the Motorsport Reunion and WERKS… as a group. \nHIGHLIGHTS OF “CAR WEEK” Mid-week Tour\nAugust 17-19\, 2022\nBy going on Wednesday\, you can tour Carmel or Monterey before you go to Thursday 8/18’s Monterey Motorsport Reunion at Laguna Seca Raceway and attend the premier Porsche car show\, Werks Reunion on Friday 8/19 at a golf course in the Monterey area. \nIf you haven’t been to the Monterey Motorsport Reunion (formerly named the Monterey Historics through 2009) or haven’t gone in awhile\, THIS is the year to go as the Races will be dedicated to the 24 Hours of Le Mans on its 100th Anniversary. There will be displays in the Paddock of historic Le Mans cars and 3 of the races will be cars that raced at Le Mans 1923-1982. Thursday’s sessions will be qualifying races\, so the majority of the cars will be on track that day. Each tour attendee will be responsible for purchasing their own Thursday admission ($50/each) and $40/car preferred parking from the Weathertech Laguna Seca Raceway website. \nYou can register via Eventbrite:
