PCA has launched a new “App”: called Porsche Panorama.

This new App allows you to download the latest Panorama to your mobile device(s), so your Panorama will be available without waiting for your “print” copy to make its way to your mailbox. The download is an exact duplicate of the print version and I can tell you that the colors are insanely intense (as viewed on my 10.5 in iPad).
This new availability is a part of a intensive effort in digital content for PCA. But wait, there’s MORE!
If you click on the “menu” area — it looks like a series of lines at the upper right of the app screen, a “Main Menu” listing appears.

From this menu, you can click directly to the (full, current) PCA Website, the “Mart” and the “PCA WebStore”. The linked sites are, again, full content of the particular website module.
You can also click on “Member Card” to see your current PCA membership card — in case you can’t find your wallet sized copy. What, you don’t carry it with you, right next to your California Drivers License ???
The last link of interest is “Editions”, which gives access to past Panorama editions — back to Aug 2019. There is a button to load even older editions!! (I stopped looking when I swiped down to 2016 editions!).
The “About” button for the current version of the App allow you to delete any downloaded content (you can always re-download older editions). I guess this is to free up memory space on your device. There is also an option of looking at a “Debug log”… why would any of us ever want to see that information is beyond me! We’ll see if that function persists.
Downloading the App is quite simple and familiar. Go to your App store (for me its the Apple App Store) and search for “Porsche Panorama”. Download is FREE… yes, no charge, though the download on my iPhone took a full minute or two. Once you have downloaded the App and opened it, you are invited to “login to your (PCA) account”. Your login ID is your email address and Password is the one to access your PCA “account” — the same one you would use to log into the current, full PCA website. Remembering your password maybe the most difficult part of the job. If you have not created a PCA “account”, you would need to do so to get any use out of the App.
So, go ahead and give the new App a test drive. Again, its all part of evolving “digital content” functionality for PCA !!
