This is a first for the Yosemite Region of the Porsche Club of America.  Over the last few years, two out of three new Porsches sold are SUVs with four doors. Based on that fact, why not offer a scenic, safe gravel road tour. Our SUV Tour Master, Mr. Hugh Ewing, will be leading this first ever event. The tour will break at the top of Pinecrest peak for a picnic (bring you our lunch-BYOL) lunch. The group will enjoy amazing views of Pinecrest lake. Participating Cayenne and Macan owners will enjoy a relaxed all-wheel drive tour, which is perfect for all stock clearance vehicles.  The route is very pleasant along Harring Creek Road to Coyote Meadows, which is the first major stop and photo opp. From there you will travel up the Pinecrest Peak with great vistas of the lake.  This will be the location for the groups lunch break. On the way down, the group will be stopping at a second vista overlook with western exposure and views of the beehive-shaped granite outcroppings.  A wonder of nature. The group will start back to the tarmac (Highway 108) and finish at the Telfer property in time for Happy Hour!!
